"When I teach others, I teach myself." - Itzhak Perlman

I believe that the urge and desire to teach is one of the most beautiful things accredited to humankind. Teaching is an art on its own, at which one can truly excel only when being passionate about it. When I teach music, I do a lot more than just passing on information; it is the setting into vibration of students’ personalities, of their innate capacities and giving voice to their talents and expressive potential that drives me. A good piano teacher is not someone who will constantly correct mistakes, but who will channel their students’ creativity and understanding towards artistic goals. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s words “if you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea” have been inspirational for my teaching career.
